Difference 1
Built for individual coaching, not team programming
TrainHeroic's centre of gravity is team and squad programming, one session pushed to many athletes. FitFocus's centre of gravity is the individual client relationship: a person, their programmes, their check-ins, their nutrition, their billing. Both are legitimate businesses; the product you pick should match the business you run.

Difference 2
No marketplace, no public storefront, no shared pool
TrainHeroic runs a marketplace where programmes are sold to a public audience. If your revenue mixes private coaching and programme subscriptions on a marketplace, TrainHeroic's model works for you. If your revenue is private clients and you'd rather not share a channel with thousands of other coaches, FitFocus is the cleaner fit.

Difference 3
Nutrition, habits, scheduling, and leads, not just programming
TrainHeroic is a training platform. Nutrition, habits, scheduling, and leads are not its product. FitFocus covers all of those natively, in the same workspace as the programmes. For a private coaching business where adherence is broader than weight on the bar, that's a different job being done.

Difference 4
White-label on every plan
TrainHeroic's client app is TrainHeroic-branded by default, with branded-app options on certain tiers. FitFocus ships a true white-label client app on every plan, your name in the App Store and Google Play, your colours inside, your domain on transactional emails.

Difference 5
Honest migration, not a DIY export
TrainHeroic expects you to export and rebuild. FitFocus runs the migration with you: we import clients, map custom exercises 1:1, and rebuild your top programmes before you log in as a coach. If you're not coaching inside FitFocus within 14 days, concierge support is extended at no cost.

Being honest
What TrainHeroic does better
No product is strictly better than another. Here's where TrainHeroic genuinely wins, so you can make the right call for your business.
- Team and squad programming is TrainHeroic's home turf. Writing one session and pushing it to 25 athletes with individual load scaling is a workflow they've polished for years, for a sports team or performance squad that's category-leading.
- The TrainHeroic Marketplace. A coach can publish a programme and have it discovered by new subscribers without running their own marketing funnel. FitFocus has nothing equivalent, we're a 1:1 platform, not a programme storefront.
- Performance-metrics depth. Velocity-based training, percentage-of-1RM prescription, tonnage tracking, TrainHeroic's S&C features are richer than ours, and for a competitive-athlete coach those details are the job, not a nice-to-have.
Switching made easy
Switching from TrainHeroic to FitFocus
We run the TrainHeroic migration with you. Expect 7–14 days from kickoff to launch, faster for solo coaches. Clients see a seamless handover to your new branded app with their history intact.
- Export your TrainHeroic library (exercises, programmes, templates) and your client list, we send the exact steps and help with permissions.
- We import clients into your FitFocus workspace and map custom exercises 1:1, flagging anything that needs a coach decision.
- We rebuild your top programmes inside FitFocus and run a dry run with a test client so you can sign off before clients see anything.
- We help you write the hand-over message for clients, what to expect, when the new branded app will be live, what their login will be.
- Launch day: your white-label client app goes live under your brand; clients install and open their full history.
“FitFocus has saved us so much time and effort managing all of our athletes. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, our athletes love the app, and the team has been amazing to work with.”

Frequently asked
FitFocus vs TrainHeroic, your questions
Yes. Our onboarding team imports clients, custom exercises, and programmes from TrainHeroic as part of your kickoff. We support the standard CSV exports and will help you pull them if you're not sure where to find them.
For a solo coach with under 50 clients, typically 7 days. Larger teams or S&C coaches with years of accumulated programmes usually run 10–14 days. If we're not live within 14 days, concierge support is extended at no cost.
Honestly, yes. TrainHeroic's team-programming workflow, write one session, push to 25 athletes with individual load scaling, is category-leading. FitFocus handles small-group programming but a true squad/team surface is on our roadmap. If team programming is the job, TrainHeroic remains a defensible choice.
FitFocus does not operate a marketplace, if a meaningful share of your revenue comes from on-platform programme sales, that channel ends when you leave TrainHeroic. Most coaches moving to FitFocus are consolidating around private 1:1 and small-group revenue; be upfront about the marketplace mix on the demo call and we'll tell you whether the numbers work.
Yes, they install your new branded app from the App Store or Google Play. We script the hand-over message so clients know when it's live, what it's called, and how to log in. Their training history is already waiting.
FitFocus supports percentage-based prescription and exercise-specific weight targets. Velocity-based training and advanced S&C metrics are not currently a depth area, if your programming is built around VBT or bar-speed inputs, TrainHeroic still wins there today. Be specific on the demo call.
TrainHeroic's client app is TrainHeroic-branded by default, with branded-app options on certain tiers. FitFocus ships white-label on every plan, your name in the stores, your colours inside, your domain on transactional emails. You don't upgrade to look like your own business.
No. Migration concierge is included with every FitFocus plan.
